Cornell University, is an institution with over 20,000 students and 5,000 faculty and staff from 7 different colleges. Like many others, it is a place where there are countless ways that people travel abroad and a challenging environment for data management. In one year Cornell went from a place where only the abroad office used StudioAbroad to a place where everyone is clamoring to use Terra Dotta Software. The team at Cornell harnessed the Terra Dotta Software system to bring multiple units into using the system. At the same time they launched their International Travel Registry to bring everyone else in the fold. This session will provide a step-by-step plan outlining how to bring other institutional units and departments to use Terra Dotta Software, showcasing specific examples of documents used for the migration process and customized training documentation.
