In this session, the University of Miami will present practical examples of advanced/innovative uses of the querying, reporting, and query watch systems in StudioAbroad, concentrating heavily on integration with the MS Office suite of products including Excel and Word. In particular it will focus on a semi-automated process that solves the problem of having to consistently send recurring lists of specific students to various campus offices without giving these offices access to the system as an administrator. Attendee thoughts, feedback, and innovations will also be welcome for discussion.
