System Features: A Look at what's Behind the Curtain

>>View Presentation Slides

At the heart of your Terra Dotta software is a control center of global switches that affect all aspects of your site’s functioning.  It is very important to be aware of what these switches are, how they affect your site’s processes, and, in some cases, how they can be overridden at the local level.  If you are encountering unexpected behaviors in your processes, there is a good chance  that  one or more of these switches is at odds with how you expect your software to be operating.

The System Features page is organized into 5 separate pages for a logical ordering of the switches.  Taking each page in turn, we will discuss the various settings that are found here, what they control, and how the various values that can be chosen for a particular setting interact with your site’s processes.  Attendees will gain a better understanding of their site’s overall functioning, will be better equipped to troubleshoot difficulties in their process flow, and will likely meet interesting new features they haven’t utilized before.

This session will be most helpful to users who are relatively new to the software, but more experienced users will also benefit from this review of the ‘control panel’ for the software.
