What Happens in the Directory Stays in the Directory - Or does it?

>>View Presentation Slides

StudioAbroad Directory is known for making things move.  In this session, you will see how Middlebury College moves program information in two directions.  They import Directory programs into their program catalog, and they also publish programs to the Directory as a means of promoting Middlebury’s Schools Abroad to students from other colleges and universities.  Middlebury will share tips on topics such as communicating with providers, receiving applications for new and unlisted programs; creating trouble-free brochures, understanding how dates behave and other things learned the hard way.

This session will also offer a preview of Directory-related enhancements in version 12.  New mapping utilities will detect and clean up orphaned, duplicate, and erroneous mappings.  Through these mapping checks, you will know when a mapping needs to be corrected. Yet another new feature will bring a more effective method for handling discontinued programs.  Come and learn how to put these ‘clean-up’ tools to work for you.   Target audience includes current and perspective users of the StudioAbroad Directory.
