As Director of Study Abroad at Sacred Heart University, Carrie is charged with global oversight of study abroad programming. She works with faculty to develop and manage short-term study abroad programs, analyzes administrative dimensions of new projects, and negotiates with overseas counterparts on linkages and exchanges.  Carrie’s responsibilities also include the fiscal management of all study abroad programs.  She also works closely with the overseas Resident Directors to provide both logistical and operational support.  Most importantly, she has hands-on, gone through the StudioAbroad implementation process twice — once with an institutional license and once as a SaaS client.

Carrie obtained her B.A. in Anthropology from Wheaton College in Massachusetts, her M.A. in International Education from the World Learning SIT Graduate Institute and is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in the Design of Learning Environments at Rutgers University.
